Ford Transit Custom & MK8 2013+ Lowered Single Captains Seat Base Box – Passenger Side

Our Ford Transit Custom & MK8 lowered seat base box is specifically designed and manufactured to work as a direct fit replacement of the bulky twin bench passenger’s seat in your Transit van or motorhome. The boxes are finished in highly durable satin black powder coat. They are also manufactured 30mm lower than standard. This is to retain your original seating position when fitting a swivel base or comfort suspension seat.

Not only is the box lowered, but thanks to our CNC laser cut design the box is supplied ready to mount directly to the OEM fixing points in your vehicle.

Fitment notes:

Please note the top face is supplied undrilled. This is to allow fitment of aftermarket and non OEM seats as is common on many motorhome builds.

When converting the from a double bench seat, one hole in the cab floor is unthreaded. This will need tapping out with an M12 tap.

FASP MK8/Custom V362 Ford Transit. This is a heavy duty, low profile genuine seat turntable swivel base for the single seat.

Fitment notes: On the driver’s side the handbrake will need lowering to enable the seat to turn. You can order this from the options below. There are locating pins on the seat base box which need cutting flush to allow the swivel to mount. You may also find that the plastic covers on the seat base need trimming to suit.

This swivel is not suitable for 2013 onwards models MK8 Transit including the Custom.

This is a rigid height rise, aftermarket Transit captains seat for the driver’s side. Suitable for MK6 & MK7 vans from the years 2000 – 2013.  The seat assembly is designed to bolt straight on to your original Ford Transit MK6/MK7 driver’s side seat base box. We also have an option to supply the seat with a low profile FASP swivel base. Please select from the options below.

Supplied in air permeable black textile. It comes as standard with a headrest and armrests that fold up and have angular adjustment. The seat is supplied with the seat belt stalk fitted.

Please note, Your handbrake will require remounting in a lower position. This will allow the seat and swivel to rotate fully.

Passenger’s side Ford Transit captains single seat conversion kit suitable for MK6 & MK7 vans from the years 2000 – 2013.  The seat assembly is available with a 30mm lowered base box and swivel options. Therefore, when fitting the swivel to the lowered base box, the original driving height is retained. Please select from the options below.

The Ford Transit captains seat is supplied in air permeable black textile.
