Our Sprinter/Crafter lowered seat base box is specifically designed and manufactured to work as a direct fit replacement in your 2007-2017  model Mercedes Sprinter or VW Crafter. The boxes are finished in highly durable satin black powder coat and are supplied 70mm lower than standard. This is to retain your original driving position when fitting a swivel base or comfort suspension seat.

Not only is the box lowered, but thanks to our CNC laser cut design the box is supplied with the handbrake bracket in a lowered position so you do not need a handbrake lowering kit when fitting a swivel base. You may need to adjust the handbrake cable once re-mounted in the lower position. The provision for the OEM fuse box is also laser cut into the side of the base box.

Please note the top face is supplied undrilled. This is to allow fitment of aftermarket and non OEM seats as is common on many motorhome builds.

Fitment notes, please read prior to purchase:

These bases are an aftermarket product designed to suit all Sprinter and Crafter vans from 2007 to present day. As such, the bases are designed to be the best possible fit for all applications, but you may find some modifications are required to enable fitment into your vehicle. 

On some models you may find that you need to drill a hole in the bottom flange of the base box for the earth clamp. The fuse holder bracket across the top of the base box may also need re-mounting in a new position or a new bracket fabricating for fitment.
